K9 spin-off series

Get set to enter the Tardis as the Paradise Room at the UK's Pleasure Beach, Blackpool hosts a Doctor Who event featuring showbiz guests, entertainment and memorabilia from the world of the UK's TV series. Buy Doctor Who in the USA - or Buy Doctor Who in the UK  On Saturday 8th July 2006, Doctor Who fans and enthusiasts are invited to come along and meet headliner Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane Smith alongside Tom Baker in the original 70's version of the show.
Elisabeth, who recently made a cameo return to the small screen this year alongside David Tennant and Billie Piper, will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs from 12 noon til 3.00pm.
Guests to the convention will also be able to browse and buy Doctor Who merchandise, and have a photo with K9 who has also appeared in the current series and is set to film his own spin-off series next year.
From 5.00pm, a gala dinner will take place in the Paradise Room with the climax of Doctor Who series 2 being broadcast on a giant screen at the venue.
Anyone is welcome to turn up at the Paradise room during the day.
Tickets must be purchased for the evening event and are priced £25 each. You can call 0208 471 2356 to book your place at the event.
