FPI gets altruistic 12/08/2006 . Source: Jessica Martin
Forbidden Planet International do charity. True. This just in from Joe Gordon ...
One of the independent British titles Forbidden Planet International have added on to their site as part of British Comics Month is Just 1 Page, which is a charity comic where each artist contributes one page of work, with the money raised going to support Childline.
The issues also include a copy of 24 Minute Comics written by the excellent Mike Carey then drawn in 'less than half an hour' by various artists at the UK Webcomix Thing and Brighton Expo.
There is also an auction coming up of comic art (I so want the Charlie 'Walking Dead' Adlard's zombie footballer or the pastiche of We3 with Snoopy, Woodstock and Garfield) and it is all for a good cause - details and links are on the blog posting: http://forbiddenplanet.co.uk/blog/?p=1377
