Kellie Strom 10/12/2006 . Source: Jessica Martin
Kenny, one of the bookstore's Forbidden Planet's founders, has posted an interview with Irish-Danish illustrator Kellie Strom. This missive just in from Joe Gordon...
"The interview goes from his early comics work through to his forthcoming children's book Sadie the Air Mail Pilot (gorgeous artwork) and illustration for the new Jackanory which begins on the BBC today (with younger reader's fantasy Muddle Earth, which I know from experience as a bookseller has been the gateway for many a younger reader to get hooked into Pratchett). Kellie has worked on the second story segment, the Magician of Samarkand and kindly provided us with some of his sketches to post - there are plenty of links to his own site which is full of interesting material and well worth a good browse."
