James Patrick Kelly's StoryPod 08/02/2007 . Source: Jessica Martin
SFF author and editor James Patrick Kelly is coming to Audible.com with a new project. StoryPod is a paid podcast where, over the course of 13 weeks, subscribers will get 13 stories, delivered weekly - and delivered automatically. (If they subscribe mid-stream, they will get all the previous stories.) Most have never appeared in audio before.
Jim narrates each story, and he personalises them by adding commentary about the story's genesis.
In all, Audible will carry four 13-week runs of StoryPod - a total of 52 stories in all. Those 52 stories represent nearly every short work Jim's ever published.
StoryPod 1.0 kicks off with the cyberpunk story "Rat." Succeeding weeks will bring "The Leila Torn Show," "The Edge of Nowhere," "Bernardo's House," "The Dark Side of Town," "Standing in Line with Mister Jimmy," and much more.
StoryPod launches this Friday Feb 2nd 2007.
It's available at www.audible.com/jimkelly
