According to the Hollywood Reporter, Davis Films will start production on Solomon Kane, based on the Robert E. Howard character, in May 2007. Michael Bassett (Wilderness, Deathwatch) will direct.
Solomon Kane is the story of a driven 16th-century English Puritan who travels the world fighting evil. Paradox Entertainment, which owns the rights to Conan and the rest of Howard's properties, picked up the Kane rights. Del Rey publishes The Savage Tales of Solomon Kane as part of its program of illustrated volumes by Robert E. Howard.
