Dragon in Chains

Caitlin Blasdell of Liza Dawson Associates in New York, representing the John Jarrold Literary Agency, has concluded a three-book deal with Fleetwood Robbins of Del Rey Books. The author is an award-winning British novelist, writing under the pseudonym Daniel Fox, and Robbins acquired World Rights in a new fantasy trilogy, Moshui: the Books of Stone and Water, about a deposed boy-emperor who flees with his court and generals to a remote island that turns out to be the secret source of magic for the empire.
The first book, Dragon in Chains, will be published in early 2009.
