Launch of SCI-FI-LONDON.TV

A new film channel showcasing science fiction and fantastic film has launched today. The development sees the SCI-FI-LONDON film festival extend its web offering to include a free-to-view online TV style station. The festival has been running for six years and will now be presenting movies free to anyone on the web. Buy SCI-FI-LONDON in the USA - or Buy SCI-FI-LONDON in the UK  SCI-FI-LONDON.TV said they aim to deliver on-demand programming content across several strands including: SCI-FI-LONDON film festival movies, international shorts, documentaries and classic features. A regular news round-up show, focusing on current sci-fi and film-related stories, will add a topical element to the schedule.
SCI-FI-LONDON.TV will also broadcast content over limited seasons. Movies that would not normally be available free on the web will get a time limited airing on the channel.
The firm will be using Adobe's FlashPlayer which 98% of the world's computers utilise.
SCI-FI-LONDON.TV's Head of Acquisitions, Louis Savy told SFcrowsnest.com, "It is a natural progression to develop an online film channel associated with SCI-FI-LONDON. The film festival is held annually but our activity continues throughout the year. We already provide a busy news site at www.sci-fi-london.com and now SCI-FI-LONDON.TV will deliver a platform for the best fantastic film content online."
