Artemis Fowl becomes rather graphic

There's to be signing by Eoin Colfer and Andrew Donkin to promote the release of, Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel. They will be at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8JR, on Wednesday 26th September 2007, 6-7pm Buy Artemis Fowl in the USA - or Buy Artemis Fowl in the UK  Eoin Colfer came to prominence in 2000 when he secured the biggest ever advance for a children’s novel by an unknown author. Artemis Fowl has gone on to sell 1.7 million copies in the UK and Ireland and 7 million worldwide.
Artemis is a criminal genius whose latest idea is to kidnap a fairy and have gold as the ransom pay out. This time though, he might have met his match because this particular fairy is armed, dangerous and ready for him.
Eoin told SFcrowsnest.com he has always been a huge fan of Graphic Novels and now fulfils his ambition of seeing Artemis Fowl in this format.
Andrew Donkin is a graphic novelist. He is the author of 40 books for adults and children including: Batman: The Legends of the Dark Knight for DC Comics.
