The Xatafi Cultural Association have announced the winners of the Xatafi-Cyberdark Fantastic Literature Award 2007 (the main Spanish sci-fi awards), for the best works of fantastic literature published the last year. This year's jury was composed of Ignacio Illarregui Gárate, J. Fidel Insúa, Cristobal Pérez-Castejón, Juan Manuel Santiago, Javier Vidiella, Mariano Villarreal and Arturo Villarrubia.
SPANISH FICTION BOOK:
- Parientes pobres del diablo, by Cristina Fernández Cubas (Tusquets).
Runners-up were:
- El sueño de la razón, by Juan Miguel Aguilera (Minotauro). - Franco. Una historia alternativa, by Julián Díez (ed.) (Minotauro). - Juglar, by Rafael Marín (Minotauro).
