It's a SciFi slugfest 23/01/2008 . Source: Jessica Martin 
The shortlist for the 2007 British Science Fiction Association awards has been announced, with the likes of SFF titans such as Ken MacLeod, Richard Morgan and Alastair Reynolds slugging it out for best novel. Buy Black Man in the USA - or Buy Black Man in the UK  The awards will be presented on Saturday 22nd March 2008, in a ceremony at the British national science fiction convention, Orbital, which will be held at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, near Heathrow, in London.
