Nominations open for World Fantasy awards

The nomination form for the 2008 World Fantasy awards is now on-line. This year’s World Fantasy con will be held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the weekend of October 30th to November 2nd, 2008. Buy Tad Williams in the USA - or Buy Tad Williams in the UK  They have also just mailed out PR #2 for this year’s convention to all current attendees as well as everyone who has been in the past two years. The PR includes this year’s nomination ballot. The PR is also available on-line.
Their guests are authors Barbara Hambly and David Morrell, publisher Tom Doherty, artist Todd Lockwood and acting as toastmaster, that old fantasy hack Tad Williams. The theme for this year’s convention is Mystery in Fantasy and Horror.
