Eric Brown will be signing his new book, Kethani at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8JR, on Saturday 10th May 1-2pm 2008. Buy Kethani in the USA - or Buy Kethani in the UK  Eric began writing in the ‘70’s when he was 15 years old and living in Melbourne, Australia. He sold his first story to Interzone in 1987. Eric says that he writes Sci-Fi for people who don’t read much Sci-Fi and that he prefers to concentrate on a good story and human emotions as opposed to explanations about science and technology. He also writes a monthly column for the Guardian, reviewing Sci-Fi and Fantasy books.
It takes an alien race to show us what humanity truly is. This is the irony faced by a group of friends whose lives are changed forever when the mysterious alien race known as the Kéthani come to Earth bearing a dubious but amazing gift: immortality. It shows the consequences of the alien arrival, and how people across the world react to the invasion.
