Stargate Continuum leads SG charge in UK

If you've got Sky One cable in the UK, you're okay, as Stargate Continuum is opening the new SG season in Britain, with some fifth season Stargate Atlantis science fiction antics starting from mid-August 2008. Buy Stargate Continuum in the USA - or Buy Stargate Continuum in the UK  Stargate Continuum opens with the SG-1 attending the execution of Ba’al, the last of the Goa’uld System Lords, only to witness members of the team Teal’c and Vala suddenly disappear.
Carter (Amanda Tapping), Daniel (Michael Shanks) and Mitchell (Ben Browder) then discover that history has been changed: the Stargate program has been erased from time. Who is responsible, and how can the program be restored?
There's guest stars that include Major General Jack O’Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) and President Henry Hayes (William Devane).
The following week, Stargate Atlantis picks up from season four’s cliffhanger. Sheppard (Joe Flanigan), McKay (David Hewlett), Ronon (Jason Momoa) and Lorne (Kavan Smith) are trapped in the collapsed compound they entered in the season finale, and kidnapped Teyla (Rachel Luttrell) remains in Wraith Michael’s clutches.
Carter hears of their predicament and launches a rescue operation, but little does she know Michael and his hybrid army have already set off on a mission to recover the injured team. Will Carter be able to save them in time, and will Teyla manage to escape the Wraith? What do you think? Of course they do!
The fifth season features the introduction of a new race as well as the show’s 100th episode.
Stargate Continuum is on Sky One Tuesday 12th August 2008 at 8pm; while Stargate Atalatis Season Five, is on Tuesday 19th August 2008 at 8pm, on Sky One & Sky One HD.
