A lethal selection of fantasy and science fiction weaponry and armour is to go on display at the UK's Leeds Armoury Museum. It's part of a new show called Arms And Armour From The Movies – The Wonderful World Of Weta exhibition. Buy Hellboy in the USA - or Buy Hellboy in the UK If you travel to Leeds, you'll get a close-up view of movie props and armour from some of Weta's film projects, such as the three Lord Of The Rings movies, King Kong, Disney's The Chronicles Of Narnia, The Last Samurai and Hellboy.
Weta's own swordsmith, Peter Lyon, will be giving a series of workshops and seminars in September 2008. The museum also has an activity schedule to tie in with the displays, including falconry demonstrations, movie themed arts and crafts for kids, horse shows and the like. The scifi weapons exhibition runs until 16th November 2008.
