Comic artist Dave Gibbons will be signing Watching The Watchmen at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8JR, on Thursday 16th October 2008 6-7pm. The feature film adaptation, directed by Zack Snyder (300), will arrive in cinemas in 2009 from Warner Bros. Pictures and Paramount Pictures. Watching the Watchmen is a retrospective written by Dave Gibbons and features images of previously-unseen sketches, early script pages and background detail as to how their work came into being.
Dave Gibbons is British comic book artist whose career has included work on Judge Dredd and other strips in 2000AD, Doctor Who Magazine and other titles for Marvel, DC and other American comic publishers.
