Mark R. Leeper reports that the Golden Age science fiction artist Edd Cartier has sadly passed away.

I see we have lost another link with the Golden Age of science fiction. Edd Cartier died Christmas Day. While I cannot claim he was my favourite artist, his art was very commonly seen in the good days. If you don't remember him you will probably recognise his style...
